About Foote Orthodontics
Dr. Foote is a native of Ardmore, PA. Following graduation from Lower Merion High School, she dedicated ten years to higher education at the University of Pennsylvania where she received a Bachelor's degree in Biology, followed by a D.M.D. degree and Certificate of Orthodontics from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Dental Medicine.
Since then, she has combined full time clinical practice with part-time teaching commitments. Dr. Foote was a Clinical Affiliate of Orthodontics with the post doctoral program of orthodontics at the University of Pennsylvania where she taught orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning to the residents of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry of the University of Pennsylvania. The focus of her teaching responsibilities has been early, interceptive orthodontic care for children. She has completed clinical research on orthopaedic management of young adolescent orthodontic problems.
Dr. Foote utilizes the latest technological advances in the industry, such as Invisalign, Invisalign Teen, and ceramic braces, along with digital imaging and advanced computer graphics, to ensure that you receive the most effective and comfortable care possible.
A third generation dentist, Dr. Foote is an active member of the local community, supporting school and community programs. She is a member of the:

- American Association of Orthodontics
- Academy of Stomatology (serving as New Member Chair)
- Main Line Dental Society (serving as New Member Chair)
Dr. Foote feels that she has assembled a team that is unmatched in skill and service, and we treat all of our patients like our own family. We attend continuing education lectures across the country as a team, and we have taught other local offices many aspects of clinical and patient care. No question will go unanswered, and Dr. Foote makes it a priority to spend time with every patient at every appointment. Our personalized care is the focus of our practice, and as soon as you join us in our office you will realize that you are part of our patient family.
Our Team
Kate Baran
Kate Baran is our highly skilled clinical assistant. Kate is also a native of the Main Line, growing up in Berwyn, graduate of Notre Dame Academy, Conestoga High School and West Chester University. Kate resides in West Chester with her husband Eric, and their new baby, Billy.
Marcia Geary
Marcia Geary is an integral part of our team, specifically with regard to finances. She is our billing/finance manager. Marcia graduated with a BA from Tufts University and an MBA from Boston University. A Connecticut native, she now lives in Wayne with her four wonderful children - Jack, Lyssa, Tim and Matt Freese. Marcia is also chair of the board of the West Hill School and very active in our local community.
Jan Lopoten
Jan Lopoten is our highly skilled clinical assistant and treatment coordinator. She is a graduate of Archbishop Carroll High School and Cabrini College. Jan currently resides in East Norriton with her husband Barry, and two beautiful girls, Anna and Julia, and their dog Saffy.
Marlene Singer
Marlene Singer is the most wonderful office manager and administrative assistant who will always greet you with a smile. Her sincerity and willingness to accommodate makes Marlene incredibly well suited to her role, as does her twelve year career in the Methacton School District as an administrative assistant. Marlene is local to the area, the second of seven in the large, and loving Boegly family. Marlene resides in Eagleville with her husband Andy and is mother to Megan and Haley Kramer.
Nicole Tavani
Nicole Tavani is our highly skilled clinical manager and treatment coordinator. Nicole is a graduate of Archbishop Carroll High School and is one of six children. She currently resides in King of Prussia.
